Vintage Travelling

Today I’m over at Country View Challenges sharing this art journal page for this month’s Vintage challenge.

I started creating a vintage background by covering my chipboard page with Numbers Collage Paper by Tim Holtz and then I coloured the page using Vintage Photo and Ground Espresso Distress Ink and some Pumice Stone Distress Oxide Spray. Next I arranged all the paper elements by Tim Holtz over the top, which were edged using Vintage Photo Distress Ink and a Dark Sepia Faber-Castell marker; the Tim Holtz products included a Field Notes Ephemera pack, Worn Wallpaper Scraps, Pocket Cards, and a Clippings Sticker Book.

I hope you are inspired to join our Vintage challenge over at Country View Challenges too, if you do, you’ll have a chance to win a £20 voucher to use on the Country View Crafts.

Following last week’s post, I thought you may wish to see some more amazing vehicles from the SpareParts Festival; isn’t this bird amazing!

Here’s a close up of the beautiful lady travelling in the aeroplane carriage behind the bird (smile!).

I hope that you are staying safe and well!

Thanks so much for joining me today! If you have any questions or comments, I would love to hear from you.

  1. Really fabulous page Jo! I love the way you’ve done the background with the collage images over top! Those photos are just amazing! Never seen anything like that! I wish I could go to the parade! LOL
