Thankful Everyday

It’s time for a new challenge over at Try it on Tuesday, which is Winter Blues.

My page today was created with lots of blue scraps that I had in my craft stash which included recycled papers from greeting cards, recycled envelopes, recycled book pages, leftover stamped tissue paper, old calendar pages, recycled foil from sweets and a photo from an old magazine. I simply collaged everything together using a glue stick and some Liquitex matte gel medium after edging them all with a black Faber-Castell marker. To finish, I added some measuring tape designed washi tape, a blue washi tape flower and the “Thankful everyday” sticker from Kaisercraft.

For more inspiration please pop over to Try it on Tuesday to see the amazing Winter Blues creations from our Guest Designer and my Design Teamies too (grin!). I hope you are inspired to join our challenge; it would be lovely to see you there!

As T Stands for Tuesday, I’m sharing my pretty blue mug of tea with a piece of spiced apple cake made with apples from my garden (smile!) – Happy T Day everyone!

Hope that you’re all staying safe and well!

Thanks for joining me today! If you have any questions or comments, I would love to hear from you.

  1. Lovely collage of blue Jo. It’s always fun to rip, tear and put paper scraps together, especially when you end up with such a pretty result. And nice blue mug to go along with todays page too. Have a great T day and week ahead. Hugs Erika

  2. Your homemade spiced apple cake sounds delicious!!! I want a piece too, please!
Loving your pretty, spring colored journal page. It reminds me of the beautiful and delicate China dishes I used to see in gift shops, that I was never allowed to touch.
    Happy Tea Day,

Your blue collage is beautiful, and I like the idea of edging everything in blue that you have used. I must remember that.

  6. I am sorry to be so late visiting this week, but my internet was offline because the high winds knocked the cable out.

Every time I see someone has recycled, it makes me happy. You have given us a plethora of wonderful winter time blues. this is a stunning page, and I was also impressed it also qualified for Mia’s theme at AJJ.

Your lovely blue mug is perfect for T this week, Jo. It is the perfect color to keep the winter blues away. Thanks for sharing your lovely journal page and your tea and apple cake with us for T Tuesday.
