Over at Try it on Tuesday our challenge for the next 2 weeks is Recycle.
I love to recycle and use up leftovers on my art journal pages so I collaged different paper pieces that I recycled from a Home Store magazine with some leftover sticker pieces.

I started by recycling a couple of the magazine pages by cutting out the different textured and patterned panels and arranged them onto the page using a glue stick. Then I added the large yellow flower which was a washi tape sticker and some leftover pieces of yellow and brown border stickers from Kaisercraft. I used some border outline stickers from Docrafts to frame the paper pieces and to finish, I added the “own your dreams” wording by Kaisercraft.
For more inspiration please pop over to Try it on Tuesday to see the wonderful Recycle creations from our Guest Designer and my Design Teamies too (grin!). I hope you are inspired to join our challenge; it would be lovely to see you there!

Now summers here with peaches are available in the shops and as T Stands for Tuesday, I’m sharing a yummy Peach Bellini. Like my page it’s simple to make (measurements are for a champagne glass):
Add 3tbl of homemade Peach Puree.
Add 2tbls of Peach Schnapps.
Add chilled Prosecco and stir if needed.
Happy T Day everyone!
Hope that you’re all staying safe and well!
Thanks for joining me today! If you have any questions or comments, I would love to hear from you.
Challenges
As well as Try it on Tuesday, I’m pleased to be joining the following challenges:

LTCCB#155 Anything Goes over at Love To Scrap Challenge Blog with recycling old magazine pages to create my page.
Hmmmm, I sure would not say no to a refreshing prossecco! Have a yummy, happy, arty T-Day 🙂

I love to recycle scraps of paper also, and you did a great job with this page Jo. I love the color scheme and the mosaic look. And that peach bellini- that sounds and looks amazing. It is a perfect summer drink. I used to enjoy a drink called a fuzzy navel made with peach snapps, but I can’t remember what else. I need to check that out for when the weather gets hot. Do you know that drink? Have a great T day and week ahead. Hugs-Erika

That looks like a delicious and refreshing hot-weather drink. Our heat wave is predicted for tomorrow (but I don’t have any of the ingredients so I guess I’ll have Diet Coke).

Jo this really is so lovely, summery colours that work so well together.. reminds me of a home decor mood board, something I’m working on constantly with my MIL and her impending house move. So very beautiful Jo.

Your refreshing peach drink is certainly reflected in your color choices for the journal page. Re-purposing a catalog is a great way to reduce waste.
Happy Tea Day,
Kate

I’ve been without electricity since about 6:30 pm yesterday. Never so glad to get my AC and internet back.
Recycling is something I do most days in my art, so this theme is near and dear to me. I love how you recycled the magazines. They are a good source of art, too. This turned out so lovely and delicate.
What a great way to use peaches. So nice of you to share the recipe, too. I really love those glasses. They are beautiful. They remind me of glass ware I’ve seen in the 1930s and 40s. Thanks for sharing your recycled art and your Peach Bellini with us for T this Tuesday, dear Jo.

A fantastic page and inspiration Jo. Great recycling as well of the bits and pieces. Magazines have so much content and are so handy to use in our journals etc.

That looks like a very refreshing cocktail. Cheers!
Your page is lovely. It is worth keeping all those little bits and bobs combined with cut out pieces from a magazine. I really like it. The colours are quite unusual and fit so well together.
Happy belated T-Day,
Hugs,
Lisca

I do hope this goes through. I have been trying for at least the last several T Tuesday weeks to leave a comment but none ever went through:( That’s a beautiful page with those soft grey tones and yellow- a lovely color combination. Cheers- and a happy very belated T day. Have a great weekend!
