Feminine

Over at Try it on Tuesday our challenge for the next 2 weeks is Make it Feminine.

I created this feminine page using a gorgeous Shabby Chic paper from Studio Light, some lace and pearls. I hope that you like it and are inspired to join our challenge too; it would be lovely to see you there!

For the background, I stamped a delicate Floral Icons stamp from Docrafts using Brushed Corduroy and Ground Espresso Distress Ink. Then I cut the Shabby Chic paper and also some Vintage design papers to create the different paper pieces; I edged them with Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink and arranged them onto the page using a glue stick. The wording was a sticker from Kaisercraft and reads “You make life beautiful”. To finish, I added some pretty lace flowers and pearl strips.

For more inspiration please pop over to Try it on Tuesday and take a look you at the wonderful Make it Feminine creations from my Design Teamies too (grin!).

As T Stands for Tuesday and I recently celebrated 5 years of blogging, I’m sharing this photo collage of some of the tea that I’ve enjoyed and posted over the years; it features pretty feminine tea sets to tie in with my page – Happy T Day!

Hope that you’re all staying safe and well!

Thanks for joining me today! If you have any questions or comments, I would love to hear from you.

  4. OMGoodness, Jo. I feel old. I cannot believe you have been blogging five years. You have really made a name for yourself, especially in the art journaling community.

I love, love, love your vintage inspired feminine page. It is beautiful and so very vintage feeling. Thanks also for sharing it with us at Art Journal Journey, also using Elle’s theme.

I love the delicate and beautiful cups and saucers you shared with us for your 5th blogiversary. I remember them all and can almost remember where you were when you shared these. Thank you beyond belief for five years of great tea drinking with us, as well as great art journals for T this Tuesday, dear.

  10. Congrats on 5 blogging years! I had to look up how long I’ve been at it, turns out since 2006 and my current blog since 2008. Wow, 15 years for me. I like your page, it’s definitely feminine. Vintage and pink are always nice. And what a nice array of teas! I know only 2 places around these parts where I can dine with that kind of tableware and they are both tea rooms, lol. I don’t personally own such delicate china. I’d be afraid of breaking it. Have a great weekend, xoxo
