Card Making Tutorial at A Vintage Journey

Hello Everyone!

Today I’m over at A Vintage Journey with this month’s card making post.

I always make cards for family and friends, so I’m pleased to be sharing a Shabby Chic style card that I made for a forever friend of mine.

I hope that you’ll pop over to A Vintage Journey to see my tutorial which includes lots more photos and full details of how this card came together. If you are interested, you can also find a full list of materials that I used below.

As I’ve been enjoying the summer flowers in my garden and we have lots of lavender flowering at the moment, I was inspired to included lavender as part of my card design.

Thanks for joining me today! If you have any questions or comments, I would love to hear from you.

Happy and creative wishes! Jo x

  1. I want to know the secret of your lavender blooms. My lavender is growing, but there are no blooms. Maybe your climate is better and you leave yours in the ground, while I have mine in pots. Regardless, it’s amazing.

LOVED your card, too. Yep, I have already been to see how you made it. My favorite may be the lace and the texture die.

  2. Gorgeous flowers and gorgeous card Jo.- love all the beautiful extras you always add.
I went mad a couple months back and got about 4 of the TH sizzix foliage/flowers dies but not the bigger ones you have – they sure look wonderful and very tempting oh! 🙂
Had a noisy day here with 2nd day of our annual air show and very hot and humid but better than rain of course. Hope you’ve had a great week and getting over bashing your nose – hope all well now. Gill xx
