We really enjoyed learning all about baseball whilst in America and watching the Boston Red Sox in the playoffs on TV. On our return we continued to follow the games being played and were delighted when they won the World Series – Go Red Sox!
For the background I stamped with a Hessian stamp using Pistachio Memento Ink and a Sketchy stamp using Potter’s Clay Memento Ink; both the stamps are by Kaisercraft and I chose the colours to depict the grass and sand of the baseball field. Next I added some vintage baseball images and words which are rub-on transfers by Royal & Langnickel. To depict the baseballs, I drew circles with baseball stitching using a black Uni Pin marker around some of the edges of the page. The stars are stencilled using Pébéo modelling paste and coloured using Red Cherry Faber-Castell Gelato. To finish, I added some Boston Red Sox images which are coloured using a red Uni Posca Paint Pen and stuck into place using a glue stick or double-sided foam tape.
As T Stands for Tuesday, I’m sharing my Punkin Beer by Dogfish Head Craft Brewery in its Boston Red Sox bottle cooler; while we stayed with our friends it became a tradition for me to always have this cooler as they won the first time I used it so I was told it bought the Red Sox good luck (grin!). This photo was taken while on the party boat on the lake and you can find more photos of our time on the boat here if you are interested. My sandwich is turkey salad – yum! Happy T Day!
My post is a little shorter this week as yesterday I started my month of guest designing over at Simon Says Stamp for their Monday Challenge. Thank you to everyone for their kind comments on yesterday’s post, your support is very much appreciated!
I’m so excited and honoured to be in the Designer Spotlight and this week’s Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge is Make Your Own Background, it would be fabulous to see you there (grin!).

Ah, our home team. You captured the excitement of the Series playoffs on your page. We were thrilled they won, too. And I had to laugh that your bottle cozy had to be used. Baseball fans are so superstitious. Himself wore his Red Sox jacket. I’m surprised he didn’t wear it to bed. 😀 Happy t Day

It was a fabulous series! Except for a few too many late nights. (grin). I just adore your page and it is fun to see some celebrating the same team! Thanks for sharing it at AJJ also. It is perfect! You found the perfect images. Have you settled back into the home routine from your trip yet? And I think your lunch looks really good. We’ve had so much rain lately that a sunny day on a boat with a sandwich and a beer would be a perfect day.It seems like a long wait until summer again. Hope it was a fantastic T day. Hugs-Erika

Happy T Day Jo, the days all seem to roll into one for me at the moment so i’ve been playing catch up tonight (not stalking hee hee..!!)
Lovely to be inspired by your recent USA visit and watching the Red Sox, I wonder if you will continue to follow them when the season restarts. Great homage to them, the red posca is the perfect shade of red.
The Beer & sandwich sounds like Thanksgiving outdoors, delicious.
Wishing you a fabulous week,
Hugs Tracey xx

Sorry I’m late. Tuesday is my busiest day and I don’t get to see my computer until after 10 pm.
Oh what a fun page. I have never watched american football and I didn’t know you could watch it on British tv. So it was extra special that they won in the end. (In part thanks to your Red Sox cooler!)
Happy belated T-Day,
Lisca

OOhh Jo, I´m sorry I wrote something wrong, I would say that my son likes american football (not baseball) he corrected me yesterday when I commented him you like very much the Boston Red Sox. Well, he enjoyed his trip to NY very much, and visited many places. Then, they could visit Boston Common Park, the MIT, the quincy market,, center, financial buildings… and no much more before the fly back to Spain. They all loved this trip!!
Wish you a nice day, big hugs.
